Zahara's Bio & Dance Philosophy

Zahara began her exploration of bellydance in Cincinnati, Ohio.  She studied traditional bellydance (mainly American, Egyptian, and Turkish cabaret styles) and American Tribal Style bellydance for several years before developing her unique style of bellydance fusion.

Her fusion style blends elements of Classical Indian, Gypsy, salsa and other dances with cabaret or tribal bellydance moves.  Zahara also studies polynesian dancing and yoga.

Bellydancing is great for women and men of all ages, sizes & athletic ability.  It is a dance and artform that is truly accepting of everyone... no matter what your skill level or background happens to be!  It can be a great low impact or high impact workout.  Not to mention it's FUN!
My Dance Philosophy...

Dance is the physical representation of your emotions and your energy.  My goal is to encourage you to tap into your own creativity and use bellydance to express your emotions in a positive way.  It's good to be "different"... and it's good to be yourself and appreciate yourself for who you are right now.

You should always feel better
after dancing than you did before you started!
